ABOUT EYERX
EyeRx Research, Inc. is a Virginia corporation founded in 1999 by two Ophthalmologists, and two Pharmacologists. Their initial objective was to bring to market for the benefit of patients in need, drugs they had developed and patented that, due to limited market potential, were not of interest to large drug companies. Utilizing their collective knowledge and experience with drug development, testing, and the FDA approval process to plan and coordinate operations, subcontracting product manufacture and strategic teaming, EyeRx focused on a largely ignored niche market.
EyeRx, through the national reputation of its principals, has established and maintained unique and valuable contacts with key personnel at several drug companies dedicated to ophthalmological products. EyeRx is also fully aware of the types of products of greatest interest to these companies. EyeRx is uniquely positioned to act as the early phase new product development manager, coordinator, and bridge between inventors, developers, testers and those who will manufacture, distribute and sell the commercial products.
